All of April Is World Autism Month – Light It Up Blue to Bring Awareness about Autism
Coming up on November 11, 2020 – Topping Brothers 10th Annual Golf Tournament.
The Topping Family in Santa Clarita has invested their time and energy to the cause since 2010. That was a tough year for the Topping clan as then 3-year-old Liam Topping was diagnosed with autism. But it didn’t take long for the Toppings’ to get into action fighting this increasingly prevalent condition which impacts 1 of every 88 children making it an epidemic.
When your child has autism they often push away when someone tried to hug them. They show little emotion when others are laughing or crying. And they have trouble interacting with others. Autism Speaks was founded in February 2005 by Bob and Suzanne Wright, grandparents of a child with autism. Recognizing the need for a powerful voice Bernie Marcus donated $25 million to help financially launch the organization. Autism is a condition that can isolate someone.
