Autism Speaks SCV

The word “autism” can be a scary word for many parents. When a child is diagnosed with autism, parents may try to place the blame on many things.

In recent years, there has been a growing population blaming vaccines as the primary cause of autism.

This could not be further from the truth. The original report claiming that vaccines are to blame was found to be false. Since then, there have been many studies conducted which has found that there is no correlation between vaccination and autism.

This harmful myth is still often perpetuated through social media. It is important for parents to vaccinate their children to prevent from spreading serious disease. These diseases can lead to serious illness and even death.
